India's Thrilling encounter against South Africa 2011

The stage was set as India took on South Africa in their second ODI match of the series. In the previous ODI South Africa outplayed India in all aspects. The second ODI also seemed the same way as the Indian team began to loose their wickets continuously as they decided to bat first after winning the toss. Captain Cool MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh put on a decent partnership in the middle of the innings but their efforts went in vain when Yuvraj departed just the previous over of the power play 3. Raina also followed soon after Yuvraj to the pavilion by getting out in the first over of the power play. India somehow managed to score 189 and they did not last for the entire 50 overs as well. South Africans had a steady start. Hashim Amla departed early and his departure did not affected the scoring rate of South Africa. Graeme Smith played very well despite loosing wickets at the other end. Many South African batsmen tried to score quick runs and they paid their price by getting out very cheaply. They were 105/3 and there were plenty of over remaining. Smith and Duminy put on a decent partnership. Then came the break through provided by Harbhajan Singh. Duminy got out trying to clear long-on. Wickets kept falling and Smith departed on the first ball power play overs, handing over his wicket to Munaf Patel. Munaf deceived Smith completely with his slower one. Power play seemed to be very much a failure to South Africa. As usual the match came down to a wire with South Africa have 2 wickets remaining and they need 4 runs to win. Munaf bowled the over of his career, he picked up two last wickets in the same over. South africans were bundled out for 188 in 44 overs. India won by 1. Man of the Match was given to Munaf Patel and it was Munaf's best bowling figures in ODI's. This ODI was the ODI of the decade and Indian team came out on top with the views of lifting their Second world cup crown.

Ashes Regained after 24 years

England won the Ashes series with 3-1 lead over Australia for the first time in 24 years. It was pretty much one sided encounter as the low profiled Australian team were no match for the in form England team. Many milestones were achieved by the England players, Bell scored his first ashes century and Alastair Cook regained his form. This series has been very much in favor for the England team, they effortlessly outplayed the Australian cricket team in all the aspects of the game. The real test for the england team comes when they face the world number one side India in a test series. To put everything in a nutshell England were very much hot for Australia to handle.

Dates(Fruit) as all know is a variety of palm.For a long time it was not known from where Dates actually came from.Even now people are not sure about its origin but its mostly believed its from Persian Gulf. It is actually a small tree with needle like leaves.The Dates tree are found mostly in the middle east countries. The Fruit of the dates tree is called a date. It is basically green in color as many fruits are before they ripe. Then they slowly change color to red or brown. There are 2 varieties of dates one is red in  color and the other is brown. Basically both have the same benefits its just that they are 2 different varieties of dates. Dates fruit usually grow in bunches like grapes.The green dates which is actually before they ripen are used as a vegetable in the middle east. Even the leaves and flowers of dates are used in cooking mostly in the form of salads. Dates are rich in Vitamin C.Dates is very good to relieve you of constipation and also has a good impact of heart. Eating dates regularly strengthens the heart and also regulates blood flow. It also increases the count of RBC in your blood. Dates are advised by doctors for  would be mothers as dates contains the substance which strengthens the muscles of the uterus and also helps in enriching breast milk which in turn will help the kids to get better nutrition. The Apple Family

I’m sure you all know about the Apple family which is the iPod, I Phone and the iPad.
The iPad is a rectangle shaped device which look just like a book and computer it has internet, books, movies, music and games it was released in the year April 2010 and sold around 3 billion in 80 day. The iPad is very useful because you can carry it everywhere you go and it can save lots of space and when you are on a trip and you feel bored you can just go on do what you like.
The iPod was released on September the 5th 2007. It is a portable player which has Wi-Fi which means (wireless local network). You cannot use the internet outside.
The I Phone is the same as a iPod but one of the advantages is you can call and use internet outside, it is released on January 9th 2007.

A great Indian painter born on 29th of april 1848. his paintings always depicted the scenes from epics such as Ramayana and other ones. His paintings were a fusion of Indian and European styles. His painting works were mainly on women in saree who portrayed expressions. He depicted the Indian women so beautifully. But since he used western methods of paintings like oil painting, few people consider his works as non Indian which is just so unfair. He died at the age of 58.
