An animated series by the Americans!!! This was created by William hanna and joseph barbera. This depicts the non-stop battle between Tom- the cat and Jerry- the mouse but with never ending laughter. This series was also made as a film too. Its also famous for its background music, special effects etc.. apart from the tom and jerry minor characters do play very important role. This series has won Academy awards for best short subject seven times. Though this series was that famous it underwent many controversies too for blackening during explosion, for some dialogues, etc.. Intially these characters hardly spoke but later they became much chatty!
